Make Your Wooden Sash Windows Double Glazed

Sash Window Reglazing Service
Upgrading your traditional timber sash windows doesn’t mean losing their period charm. Our specialist double-glazing service gives you the best of both worlds — the elegance of original wooden frames combined with the comfort and efficiency of modern glazing.
We replace your existing single panes with slim profile, high-performance double-glass units that fit seamlessly into your current frames. The result? A warmer, quieter, and more energy-efficient home — without compromising on style.
Why Choose Our Sash Window Double Glazing?
Energy Efficiency – Reduce heat loss and keep your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
Noise Reduction – Block out street noise for a quieter, more peaceful living space.
Heritage-Friendly – Perfect for listed buildings and conservation areas, preserving original aesthetics.
Discreet Design – Slim sightlines and authentic detailing maintain your home’s traditional look.
Our Step-by-Step Process
Made-to-measure slimline double glazing: We measure your windows and order made-to-measure slimline double glazing. The lead time is approximately one week for manufacturing, so installation can usually take place within a couple of weeks, subject to our existing commitments.
- We restore and repair timber windows, not just reglaze them. Our team ensures that all issues with the timber frames and the way your windows open and close are addressed. By the end of the reglazing process, your windows will not only be more energy-efficient but will also function and look as good as new.
- Glass is fitted and sashes are balanced – When the new glazing is installed, the sashes become twice as heavy. We counterbalance this by adding more weight or fitting heavier-load spring balances.
Staff beads and beads with brush piles installed – The windows are then painted inside and out, leaving your home instantly warmer and cosier, with less noise from outside.
Suitable for all types of windows and doors
Our reglazing service is suitable for almost all types of windows and doors. We have successfully reglazed both casement and sash windows in the past, with fantastic results – the windows retain their original appearance while benefiting from much better insulated glazing.
It’s also a more cost-effective option compared to full replacement, offering excellent value for money.
